Welcome to the Bundanoon Bowling Club. It was founded in 1949 a few years after the second world war and was the forerunner to what has become The Bundanoon Club. The Bundanoon Blowing club is now associated with the larger Bundanoon Club and works in a mutually supporting manner. The Croquet Club is also an associated club. There are three greens with one used for bowling and is well maintained largely by volunteers. New members are always welcome and bowls are supplied along with tuition if needed. Brett Duprez has been fortunate enough, earlier this month be inducted into the Bowls Australia Hall of Fame. This has been formerly announced via their website etc. see link below.
Brett wanted to formerly advise the Bundanoon Bowling Club as this is where he commenced, as an 11-year-old in way back in 1986. His Father, Mick was the catalyst for me taking up the sport. Brett learned and played at the club, which holds many fond memories for his family, as well as extended family (His Grandfather played, Ken Powers, his Aunt and Uncle, Faye Powers and Brian Garbutt worked and played there also for many years, as well as the many cricket and hockey presentations and/or family events attended there).
Well done Brett!
